Favourite TV Show Quiz Thingy

Okay, so this was fun!

Choose 5 shows BEFORE reading the questions.

1. Who is your favourite character from 2?

 Eric, easily. I love his smug self-satisfaction and his voracious Viking appetite. And he sexy. That helps.

 

 2. Who is your least favourite character in 1?

That irritating cop bitch with the curly black hair. I just want to punch her. She spends every scene she’s in talking about how she just KNOWS he’s going to start killing people…bitch. (It’s fiction, Samantha…fiction).

 3. What is your favourite episode of 4?

This is tough, but there are a few powerful episodes where you got to see in Dexter things that surprise himself - like when he had to kill his own brother, or after he lost Rita and made his first kill since. In terms of other characters, Lithgow’s turn as the villain was scary and compelling and the episode where he had the little boy was chillingly revealing. Also, and *spoiler alert* for anyone who hasn’t seen season 5 of Dexter, (STOP READING NOW), when you find out that all of Colin Hanks’ communication with Olmos is in his head..complete mindsplosion!!

4. What is your favourite season of 5?

 I think 7 might be my favourite because you get to see how innately selfish he is. He went completely off the rails and the humanity he’d been showing in spicks and specks (especially in the mental hospital and with Cuddy) just disappeared, and his sense of self-entitlement was all-encompassing. And he tried to perform surgery ON HIMSELF!! Completely bad-ass!

5. What is your favourite relationship in 3?

Jon Snow and the Wildling (Ygritte)! She’s so cute with her accent.

6. What is your anti-relationship for 2?

Tara and anyone else…she irritates me.

7. How long have you watched 1?

I’ve been watching Sherlock since it started. I love it. And it inspired me to read the books. I’ve read a collection of them, but I need to get The Hounds of Baskervilles.

 8. How did you become interested in 3?

 From everyone saying “Watch Game of Thrones”!! So I did…

9. Who is your favourite character in 4?

Dexter, obviously ♥♥♥ Beyond that, Olmos and Lithgow were totally boss!

10. Which do you prefer: 1, 2 or 5?

It’s funny that 1 and 5 are basically the same character (Sherlock and House). I am obsessed with the character, like I said before. It really depends on my mood.

I guess, if I have to choose, it’s True Blood…NO…Sherlock…WAIT! True Blood. That’s not a definite, lol.

It might have something to do with this…

 

11. Which have you seen more episodes of: 1 or 3?

Game of Thrones, and only because there are more episodes of it!

2. If you could be anyone from 4, who would it be?

Lumen. Is that fucked up? Maybe Dex…

13. How would you kill off your fave character in 5?

It’s already been done, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

 

14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?

ROFL. No. I don’t even think they’re in the same dimension! Get me a Stargate and we’ll see. Although I would definitely like to see what Dexter would have in store for Joffrey…and Cersei, too.

15. What two character from 2 would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?

I don’t want to be completely obvious by saying Sam and Sookie…even though they would totally work. They have a strong friendship and always forgive each other.

Another amusing relationship would be Pam and Jessica! Maybe Pam could get Jessica to settle the fuck down!

 

16. Which show has/had the better cast: 3 or 5? 

Between Game of Thrones and House…I will have to go with House, I think. At least for now. I could easily say GoT just for Tyrion Lannister. BUT, House has always had good cast members AND there have been lots of good guest stars from episode to episode. The characters have always been consistent and well played and I never really found myself wondering what a particular character was doing in the show.

In Game of Thrones, I can never tell which old, be-robed guy with dangly keys is which.

(…and fuck those Greyjoys who you can never trust!)

17. Which show has the better Opening Theme, 2 or 4?

Tough call, but I’m going to have to go with True Blood. I’ve downloaded it (totally legit d/l) and I’ve even had it on mixed CDs in my car! It even inspired me to search for more of that dark, dirty country style. Which is completely bizarro, because I don’t even listen to country music!
